conjunction with Windridge Developments is proud to present the 2000 Toronto
National Homeshow "Dream Home"
The
Dream Home is a 3048 sq.ft. timberframe bungalow. It incorporates the
traditional Timber-Frame construction methods with the new technology of
Structural Insulated panels in order to achieve a highly structural engineered
frame with the energy efficient technology of the stress skin panels.
The
plan itself incorporates the traditional high vaulted ceilings of the
Timber-Frame structure with a spacious sunken living room and open
kitchen-dining combination. A feature fireplace in the living room greets you
with a custom carved mantel. The master suite features a huge ensuite and
walk-in closet and a gas fireplace.
A spacious loft over
the front entry offers opening in to the living area and outside to a viewing
balcony and is accessed by a beautifull curved staricase.
The
plan is completed with a large rear entry which incorporates a laundry area.
The plan can be
easily adapted for a garage addition.
